En este primer día, antes de empezar a realizar las actividades programadas, nuestra directora, Encarni, y nuestro subdirector, Christian, dan la bienvenida a los y las participantes de los centros turcos e italianos.
On this first day, before starting to carry out the scheduled activities, our principal, Encarni, and our viceprincipal, Christian, welcome the participants of the Turkish and Italian centers.
Seguidamente, tras la recepción, todos los participantes van al patio para tener una primera actividad para conocerse entre ellos y ellas. ¡Tras un año de vernos a través de webcam, por fin nos vemos en persona!
Then, after the reception, all the participants go to the schoolyard to have a first activity to get to know each other. After a year of seeing each other via webcam, we'll finally see each other in person!
Cuando ya nos conocemos un poco mejor, la compañera Mª Carmen nos tiene preparado un escape room donde se trata la temática de la reciente festividad de Halloween frente a la tradición en España de la representación de "Don Juan Tenorio" en la noche de difuntos, en el que todos y todas deben trabajar juntos para llegar a resolver este juego.
When we already know each other a little better, our colleague MªCarmen has prepared an escape room where the theme of the recent Halloween festival is treated against the tradition in Spain of the repretentation of "Don Juan Tenorio" on the night of dead, in which everyone must work together to solve this game.
A continuación, hacemos un descanso donde tomamos el típico desayuno andaluz de pan con aceite acompañado con chocolate con leche. También probamos deliciosas galletas italianas y sabrosas delicias turcas. Y como colofón, una palmera gigante de chocolate, decorada con nuestro logo y recordando la fecha del encuentro. Una dulce sorpresa que encantó a todos los participantes.
Next, we take a break where we have the typical Andalusian breakfast of bread with oil accompanied with milk chocolate. We also tried delicious Italian cookies and tasty Turkish delicacies. And as a culmination, a giant chocolate heart-shape puff pastry decorated with our logo and remembering the date of the meeting. A sweet surprise that all the participants loved.
Después de reponer fuerzas con tal suculento desayuno, los estudiantes italianos realizan una estupenda presentación sobre cómo obtener las coordenadas GPS, su función y como marcar una incidencia con dichas coordenadas en una ruta, utilizando la aplicación para móvil diseñada entre todos en los encuentros virtuales.
After recharging strength with this suculent breakfast, the Italian students make a wonderful presentation about how to obtein GPS coordinates, their funtion and how to mark an incident with this coordinates on a route, using the mobile application designed together in the virtual meetings.
Y para finalizar una intensa mañana de actividades en el centro, el profesorado turco nos enseña a editar vídeos utilizando la aplicación Cupcut.
And to finish an intense morning full of activities in the school, the Turkish teachers teach us how to edit videos using Cupcut application.
Después, vamos a comer a un restaurante cercano a nuestro centro. Uno de los estudiantes turcos nos sorprende tocando al piano la Oda a la Alegría, que es el Himno Europeo.
Afterwards, we go to eat at a restaurant near our school. One of the Turkish students surprises us playing the Ode to Happiness on the piano, which is the European Hymnus.
Y no podíamos finalizar este día tan intenso sin darnos un pequeño paseo por el parque del Oeste y llegar hasta el paseo marítimo y la playa, disfrutando del atarceder.
And we could not to end this intense day without taking a short walk through the Park "Parque del Oeste" and reaching the promenade and the beach, enjoying the sunset.
